By using The Soul Mechanic, you agree to these terms. They're written to be clear — not to trap you.

The Platform

The Soul Mechanic is a self-guided wellness tool. It provides personalized breathwork, somatic exercises, and journaling prompts based on your intake assessment. Content is AI-generated and adapts to your responses over time.

This platform does not include:

• Live sessions, coaching calls, or human-to-human support
• Therapy, counseling, or psychotherapy of any kind
• Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Diagnostic tools or clinical assessments

Your Account

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• One account per person — do not share access
• You must be at least 16 years old to use this platform

Subscriptions & Billing

The Soul Mechanic offers the following paid options:

• Monthly subscription — $39/month: Auto-renews every 30 days until cancelled. Includes full protocol access, daily check-ins, and adaptive updates.
• Premium Toolkits — $79 to $149 (one-time): Standalone deep-dive programs (e.g., sleep reset, nervous system bootcamp). Purchased once; no recurring charge.
• Subscription billing begins at checkout and renews automatically on the same date each month
• You may cancel at any time — access continues through the end of your paid billing period
• Cancellations take effect at the next renewal; no partial-month refunds
• Refund requests for subscriptions considered within 7 days of initial charge — contact us at hello@thesoulmechanic.co
• One-time toolkit purchases are non-refundable once accessed
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe

Your Data & Personalization

To deliver a personalized protocol, we collect and process the following data:

• Intake assessment responses (symptoms, sleep patterns, stress triggers)
• Evening check-in answers (daily mood, body sensations, adherence)
• Journal entries submitted through the platform
• Progress signals used to adapt your protocol over time

This data is used exclusively to generate and refine your personal protocol. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on storage, retention, and deletion rights.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or redistribute any platform content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the AI-generated protocols
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate other users or platform staff

Intellectual Property

All content on The Soul Mechanic — including text, practices, protocols, and design — is owned by The Soul Mechanic and protected by copyright. Your personal protocol data belongs to you.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about outcomes. Individual results vary. We are not liable for decisions made based on platform content.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Soul Mechanic is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us — we'll remove your data within 30 days.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, not class actions.
